Me: I’m a first year student at Deakin studying Communications (Public Relations). I previously studied at Monash University where I majored in Psychology. Fascinating subject, however, it requires about 7 years of study in a highly competitive field, and I wasn’t even sure it was for me! Outside of uni, I’m either on some social media platform or watching (and by watching I mean binge watching it in 4 days) something on Netflix. I have an unhealthy addiction to buying makeup and coffee and then wondering where all my money has gone. You can often find me napping or slicing bread at one the two bakery jobs that I have (what can I say, I love carbs). I’m loving Deakin life (except from the lack of food options) and can’t wait so see what the next few years has in store.

Blog: The whole idea of this blog was to share my Deakin experience with other students. I want to share things that I’ve learnt, both about university life and my units, as well share experiences about both Monash and Deakin. University for me was, initially, a really scary experience and quite unlike anything else I’d ever experienced before. For anyone who was in my position and not quite sure what to expect from uni then I hope they might find solace in my blog.
